When should I use LCL instead of FCL?
LCL (Less than Container Load) is cost-effective when your shipment fills less than about 15 CBM. You pay only for the space you use. FCL (Full Container Load) becomes cheaper once your cargo fills more than about 15-20 CBM.
What is the minimum for LCL?
Most freight forwarders have a minimum of 1 CBM or 1 tonne, whichever is greater. Below that, you may still be charged for 1 CBM.
How long does shipping take from India?
From Mundra/JNPT to Europe: 20-25 days. To USA East Coast: 25-30 days. To Australia: 15-20 days. To UAE: 5-8 days. These are transit times and don't include customs clearance at destination.
