When should I do a pre-shipment inspection?
Ideally when 80% of the order is packed and ready. This gives the inspector enough finished goods to check quantity, quality and packing, while still allowing time to fix issues before the container is sealed.
What is the difference between pre-shipment and during-production inspection?
During-production inspection happens while goods are being made — useful for catching issues early. Pre-shipment inspection happens after production is complete but before goods leave the factory. Both are valuable at different stages.
