How It Works

You tell us what you need. We scope the work properly and send you a written quote. You approve it. Then we start visiting factories.

If the scope changes halfway through, we agree the new price with you first — not after the invoice lands.

Two ways to pay us. Pick whichever fits how you buy:

Commission

5–10%

of your total order value

Good if: you're placing a defined order and want one simple percentage covering the lot — finding suppliers, auditing factories, watching production, inspecting before dispatch.

Retainer

$1,500–$3,000

per month, depending on scope

Good if: you're buying from India all year — multiple suppliers, ongoing production, or you just want us on call without haggling over every visit.

The Commission Model, in Plain Terms

You've got a specific order or a seasonal buying programme.
One all-in figure tied to what you spend. Don't buy, don't pay commission. Simple.
Supplier search, factory audits, production monitoring and pre-shipment inspection — all wrapped into that single percentage.
Typically 5–10% of the order value. We confirm the exact number in writing against your scope before any work begins.

The Retainer Model, in Plain Terms

You're sourcing from India continuously — new products, repeat orders, several factories.
You want us available across the month without negotiating each visit.
You're running a private-label programme that needs regular audits, sample rounds and inspections.
$1,500–$3,000 per month, depending on how many suppliers, how complex the products are and how often we inspect. Every line itemised in the agreement.

Extra Services — What They Cost

Only applies when it's outside your agreed commission or retainer:

Questions Buyers Actually Ask Us

Do you take a cut from the factories too? No. Our fee comes from you, under whichever model you pick. We don't take hidden commissions from suppliers — that's exactly why you can trust our audit reports. An agent paid by the factory will always favour the factory.

Is the first consultation really charged? Yes. Sourcing and QC are professional work, and we charge for both. We'll happily have an introductory chat so we understand your needs — then we send you an honest written quote. No obligation.

What if my order value changes mid-project? On commission, the percentage stays the same — the fee just follows the final order value up or down. If the scope itself changes, we re-quote and get your sign-off in writing first.

Can I try you with a single inspection first? Of course. A one-off factory audit or pre-shipment inspection (~$500) is the smartest way to see how we work before you commit to anything bigger.

Do you work with small businesses? All the time. Plenty of our clients are boutique shops and first-time importers. Same process — careful scoping, written terms, and we'll walk you through each step.
