We apply a 90% practical fill factor — in real life you lose space to pallets, dunnage, door gaps and cartons that don't stack perfectly.

Watch the weight too. A 20ft container holds about 33 CBM but maxes out around 28,000 kg of cargo. Dense goods like stone tiles hit the weight limit long before the container looks full. If your cartons are heavy, check weight first, volume second.
